Exhibiting at Armley Gallery

Armley Gallery, located in Armley Library, invites artists to submit work for display. The work will be hung on 8 columns, and must be made to fit the dimensions of the columns, the maximum size being 45.5 cms by 123 cms. We are looking for work that makes a ‘virtue’ of this format, work of a ‘landscape’ format of A3 or smaller will not work in the space, so a provisional minimum length of 50 cms will apply to most works.
Submissions are welcome from individuals and groups wishing to occupy all eight columns, and from individuals wishing to submit only one work to be shown in the context of a group show.
Submissions will be assessed by the gallery committee and can take any form such as slides, Jpegs, photos, drawings etc. Please contact us to learn more.

Armley Gallery

Welcome to Armley Gallery – located in Armley Library – The jewel in the crown that is Armley Town Street.
The gallery will provide the opportunity for local artists and creative groups to show bespoke work in the heart of the local community.

Our first exhibition was "Slow Colour Column" – a painting installation of glowing colour by Adrian Lister, which began in October.
