Exhibiting at Armley Gallery
Armley Gallery, located in Armley Library, invites artists to submit work for display. The work will be hung on 8 columns, the maximum size being 45.5 cms by 123 cms (20 in by 47 in approx.). We are looking for work that makes a ‘virtue’ of this format.
Submissions are welcome from individuals and groups wishing to occupy all eight columns, and from individuals wishing to submit only one work to be shown in the context of a group show. We also have a sealed, square display case avaiable (80 cm by 80cm approx.).
Submissions will be assessed by the gallery committee and can take any form such as slides, Jpegs, photos, drawings etc. Please contact us to learn more.

Graphic Art by students from Leeds West City Learning Centre
The students exhibiting are working towards the Level 1 Creative & Media Diploma a vocational course of 5 GCSE equivalents. The course covers all areas of the Creative and Media industries involving the planning and production of art, video, audio and performance work.
Students were asked by to produce marketing materials publicising the library and its facilities. The banners displayed are all the student’s work with original photography and art work and will be exhibited in the gallery until the end of December.

The work will be hung on 8 columns, and must be made to fit the dimensions of the columns, the maximum size being 51 cms by 120 cms (20 in by 47 in approx.) Ideally, we are looking for work that makes a ‘virtue’ of this format.
Submissions are welcome from individuals and groups wishing to occupy all eight columns, and from individuals wishing to submit only one work to be shown in the context of a group show. We also have a sealed, cubic display case available.

Armley Gallery
Welcome to Armley Gallery – located in Armley Library – The jewel in the crown that is Armley Town Street.
The gallery will provide the opportunity for local artists and creative groups to show bespoke work in the heart of the local community.
Our first exhibition was "Slow Colour Column" – a painting installation of glowing colour by Adrian Lister, which began in October.
